Measurements of flame temperature with two-colour method and numerical calculations of radiation heat transfer in cylindrical oil-burnt furnace

摘要
The authors have made measurements of flame temperature and absorption coefficient with two-colour method and written a computer program for the calculation of combustion process in the cylindrical oil-burnt furnace, which is made by the combination of TEFESS, which is used to solve the problem of two dimensional elliptic flow, with heat flux method which is used to calculate the rediation heat transfer, discreted droplet model used to simulate the liquid fuel spray and eddy-break-up model used to imitate the rate of combustion reaction. The calculation results for the furnace, with the absorption coefficient from the two-colour method measurement, agree with the results from the measurement roughly.
