摘要
Today's software tools for simulation and visualization of industrial processes can be split in two main categories: visualization tools with the capacitiy to calculate mass, energy and cost balances for contineous or quasi contineous prozesses, and simulation tools with the ability to handle contineous, discontineous and stochastic prozesses and supply chains. However, in todays day to day business of industrial process modelling a combination of these two approaches is needed in order to gain full insight into process driven manufacturing. In a project at Norske Skog Bruck GmbH (A) we have combined two software tools from each category (AUDIT bzw. EXTEND/SDI) in order to achieve a modelling solution without compromises. The automated data transfer between the two software tools allows easy to handle modelling. A one day traning course is enough to be able to work with the combined process model. The combination of the two software tools offers new possibilities in different areas: process o ptimization (closed loops, i.e. reduction of waste water) the simulation of whole production plants before construction including the implementation of the plant at an existing production site (energy, supplies, waste water, delivery...) automated import from real data of ERP-systems and/or process control systems simulation of the whole supply chain through contineous model expansion supply chain management triggered by the production leading to a flexible cost management with the possibility to test new strategies before applying them.
