摘要
This report consists of four parts all concerned with various aspects of the simulation of sound fields. Part A presents the instrumentation needed for simulating sound fields as well as some of the software problems that face the experimenter trying to recreate the sound fields of an auditorium. The problems of taking into consideration wall absorption, the time pattern of the various reflections, the diffuseness of the reverberant sound field and other factors are studied. Part B presents measurements of the speech intelligibility at various positions in a specific auditorium. Part C presents measurements of the noise generation of individuals as well as auditorium audiences. Part D is concerned with ″dummy-head″ technology.
