FIXED-BED CATALYTIC REACTOR SIMULATION FOR EXOTHERMIC COMPLEX REACTION.

Benzene oxidation was studied in a fixed-bed catalytic reactor, and the results were simulated with a one-dimensional homogeneous phase model. The criteria for the uniformity of the intraparticle temperature gradient and of the temperature gradient between the particles and the fluid for a simple reaction system are also applicable to the case of a complex reaction system.
