Not only are LED displays becoming brighter, more efficient and more economical but this group of semiconductor products is also affected by the trend towards greater integration. The article discusses the advances in LED display technology referring to three functional groups of intelligent displays (intellisplays): alphanumeric, numeric and bar graph devices.
