At the present, 'the 'Zidan' closed-end joint stock company has developed technology for processing the magnesite ore from Savinskoe deposit. Production of periclase powders for enterprises of metallurgical and refractory industry. Content of magnesite in the ore is 75 to 90 percent. High-quality periclase powders containing 93 percent of MgO, caustic magnesite, and metallic magnesium are produced. New technological equipment is developed. Quality of periclase powders will be improved. Production costs will be reduced. Technology of high-temperature firing of magnesite has been developed. Other refractory products are manufactured.
