The phase estimation algorithm was implemented on a three-bit nuclear magnetic resonance quantum-information processor. Eigenvalues were estimated by the application of the algorithm to Grover operators. The counting algorithm was demonstrated to obtain the number of marked states. The analysis of the spectra gave the results of projective measurements required by the algorithms.
