Coke shops has been constructed for manufacturing the coke for blast furnaces. Four coke oven batteries have been installed at the shop. Productivity of each battery is 730,000 tons per year. Each battery has 65 coke ovens. Volume of each oven is 32.3 m3. Technology for dry quenching of coke has been developed. This makes it possible to utilize heat of the coke, and electric energy is generated in this case. Quality of produced coke has been improved. Modern scheme for feeding the circulating gas has been used. Optimal refractory lining has been provided in the coke quenching car. Refractory concrete blocks have been utilized.
