摘要
The waves travelling from a sound source within the open test section of a wind tunnel to an acoustic mirror-microphone system outside the test section are refracted and scattered by the free shear layer surrounding the wind tunnel flow. The effects of refraction on the performance of the mirror system are determined by calculating numerically the diffraction images of a point source of sound with and without flow. The computed data are then compared to the results of a corresponding set of experiments in a low-speed wind tunnel.
