High-voltage test devices for the confirmation on all poles of de-energisation of high-voltage overhead lines working at voltages above 110 kV. The problems ivolved in making a high-voltage test on high-voltage towers are discussed. This is affected in particular by changing weather conditions and their effect on the handling of the voltage tester on the tower crossarms.
