摘要：
The state-of-the-art of the plastics applications in the shoe industry is reported with particular attention to the use of ponomeric materials, with or without textile interlayer, in shoe uppers. PVC upper parts are also discussed. Technology and equipment employed in ponomeric processing are described and advantages of ponomeric-based footwear are outlined.
