The results are presented of inspection by mass spectrometry of the leak tightness of brazed cermet assemblies at room temperature and in heating to 973 degree K. It is shown that the cermet assemblies may contain leaks in brazed areas caused by internal pore-type defects. The results show that to ensure reliable detection of leaks, the leak tightness inspection time should not be shorter than 15-20 min.
