摘要
Two examples of characterization techniques for three-dimensional waveguide- and antenna components in the GHz- and THz frequency range are presented. In the first setup, a THz pulse is generated by optical excitation of a semiconductor surface-field emitter, and collimated. The second example concerns the measurement of near-field antenna patterns of a corrugated-horn antenna designed for a frequency of 2.52 THz.
