摘要：
The upgraded wastewater treatment plant in the Sleepy Hollow Sewer District in Oswego, New York, USA is described. The capital and annual costs of the treatment facility are outlined. The use of crushed recycled container glass cullet rather than sand in the 15,000-gallon-per-day recirculating intermittent sand filter is discussed. The recycled glass was produced by Nexcycle Resources, Inc. The maximum particle size was 3/8 inch.
