The first part of the volume is devoted to various business aspects of the Association. The technical papers have been collected from many meetings, e. g. , 1970 and 1971 Annual, Fourth and Fifth Paper Industry Air and Stream Improvement Conference, Second International Symposium on Water Removal at the Presses and Dryers, Fifth International Pulp Bleaching Conference, Third Canadian Wood Chemistry Symposium and Second Newsprint Conference. An unusual paper in this collection discusses new trends in lamps, lighting and applications. Many individual papers discussed technological aspects as well as environmental problems in the pulp and paper industry in Canada. Some individual papers are accompanied by bibliography information.
