Flow stress of 7075 aluminum alloy during hot compression deformation

摘要
The flow stress behavior of 7075 aluminum alloy during hot compression deformation was studied by isothermal compression test at Gleeble-1500 thermal-mechanical simulator. The results show that the flow stress is controlled by both strain rate and deforming temperature, the flow stress decreases with the increase of deforming temperature, while increases with the increase of strain rate. The flow stress of 7075 alloy during high temperature deformation can be represented by a Zener-Hollomon parameter in exponential form.
