By means of a typical press line incorporating a double-action press, three single-action presses, sheet feeders, swinging-arm extractors, turnover units, interpress conveyors, etc. it is shown that the mechanization equipment represents an additional capital outlay of only 8%. The overall savings that can be expected by the installation of this equipment are indicated.
