摘要
A common channel signaling (CCS) system was introduced into the telephone tool network in 1982. It has since been applied to such new service networks as a mobile radio communications system. In order to apply the CCS network to the local switching network level, a signal transfer point (STP) system is needed for its high-throughput and large link accommodation capabilities. This paper describes the hardware and software design concept for an STP which will be able to handle 10,000 messages/second and provide 736 links.
