摘要
The tails of the x-ray absorption near-edge structure (XANES)/x-ray magnetic circular dichroism spectroscopy (XMCD) spectra were characterized. A systematic study of the tails were presented for Fe and Fe0.65Ni0.35 on stepped Cu(111) and Fe/ZnSe(001) films. The approach to the observed XMCD oscillations was found to be qualitative, comparative and phenomenological.
