摘要
Honshu-Shikoku Bridge 'Hitsuishijima Bridge' is one of the largest cable-stayed bridge with a main span of 420 m. The main girder is double deck truss, and upper and lower deck severe highway and railway, respectively. Main features of the erection are as follows. (1) Large block lifting erection using floating cranes which enable to shorten a term of works and to keep accuracy in geometric configuration. (2) Tuned mass damper to suppress the vibration of the tower due to wind force. (3) Utilization of computer system in the cantilever erection of main span in order to get the optimum cable adjustment quickly at the site.
