Cavitation erosion of the structural members and components of plants and machines occurs in numerous instances throughout different industries. The mechanisms taking place within the material are well known and thus it is possible to optimize the technical systems involved accordingly. Laboratory cavitation erosion test equipment can also be used to solve particular problems of materials testing.
