Simple determination of effective permittivity and resonant frequency of a microstrip ring antenna including air gap

摘要：
In this study, a new and simple effective permittivity expression for a microstrip ring antenna including an air gap is presented and used to produce new resonant frequency results. It is shown that the obtained results are in good agreement with the experiments for various modes and gap widths.
