摘要
Germany has a long and rich tradition of glassmaking, dating back at least to Roman times. Many archaeological digs have attested to this and finds are still being discovered. The modern industry in the Fed Rep of Germany projects an image of cleanliness and eficiency to the rest of the industrialized world. These standards are now extending to the air above the glass plants too, thanks to the legislation imposed by TA-Luft, the arm of the FRG government responsible for air pollution control. At some of the world's cleanest manufacturing plants will be found some of the most stringent APC (air pollution control) standards. This article examines some aspects of APC technology for glass furnace flue gases.
