摘要：
The simple extension of poly(vinyl alcohol) gels, which were frozen and evacuated in the frozen state and then immersed in water at room temperature, was observed. The Mooney-Rivlin plot was made for the observed values and for Treloar's equation. The remarkable increase in the tensile force by evacuation was attributed to the contraction and the strengthening of the network by a decrease of imperfections.
