This paper is concerned with recycling of rubber wastes through granulation at low temperatures. The subject is discussed under headings - introduction (statistical data included); limit of diminution techniques; advantages of granulation at low temperatures; cooling with liquid nitrogen; equipment and process for low-temperature granulation of rubber vulcanizates; applications of the method described and its economics.
