摘要
The research has shown that it is possible to control efficiently the load-carrying capacity of thick-walled composite rods loaded by torsion, through variations of structural-technological winding parameters. Under shear loading the increase in strength of a monolayer is obtained by a proper selection of the optimum angle of reinforcement and degree of weaving. This increases the maximum load-carrying capacity of the monolayer under the load directed along and across the fibres as well as in a shear plane. By controlling the dependence of fibre angle on the radial co-ordinate it is possible to obtain the optimum shear stress diagram.
