Results of previous study on flow patterns in boiling two-phase flow are extended to analyze and correlate nucleate boiling heat transfer data. Coincidence of results between flow patterns and heat transfer has been found. Void fraction and transitional effects are discussed. An equation is presented for use over a wide range of conditions. Existing literature is compared in the analysis.
