摘要
Pipeline designers are focusing their attention on wet-gas pipelines to determine how much condensate can be carried in the gas stream before presently used, single-phase gas flow equations become inaccurate. Since published data from large diameter pipelines are scarce, it is difficult to test predictive methods with real values. Therefore, an analysis of operating data was made to determine flowing capacity of an offshore wet-gas pipeline. Actual capacity of the pipeline was calculated to be 978 MMscfd compared to an original design capacity of 921 MMscfd. The overall analysis, is based on equations which were developed for dry-gas flow, offers several conclusions for evaluating high-pressure gas pipelines that are carrying small amounts of condensate.
