Efficiency of use of hydrogen peroxide on various stages of kraft pulp bleaching

The authors of the article exhibit interest to the non-traditional approach to use of hydrogen peroxide at the first stage of bleaching in the form of a reactant HOO-. The researches including series of processing of unbleached kraft pulp by stabilized hydrogen peroxide and chlorine dioxide are conducted. Effectiveness of use of hydrogen peroxide at various stages of bleaching, as well as economic feasibility of bleaching in 4 or 5 stages, require detail consideration of major parameters of bleaching process and consumption of all used reactants.
