In the paper are described the facilities for bituminization of liquid radioactive wasted (bitumators). In the process of testings of the bitumators are determined the optimal modes of their operation, providing for high productivity and efficiency. The conclusion is made that the multiyear experience of operation of bitumators shows possibility of their application for liquid radioactive waste reprocessing in different stages of the full cycle in modes, providing for obtaining bituminous compound which correspond to demands, made on radioactive wastes for disposal in subsurface repositories.
