Statistical Determination of the Operational Behavior of Important Components in Electric Power Supply.

Using the example of thermal power block-units and 110 kV overhead lines the determination of the determinant-stochastic operational behavior of these components is represented in principle. The evaluation of the data from the point of view of the distribution of the operating and repair times shows that the hypothesis of exponential distribution which is generally selected is not permissible in all cases. The characteristic availability and reliability of the installations are stated with the particular confidence intervals.
