摘要
The Economics of the use of aluminum in engineering structures and the load bearing structures of buildings and the design of a wellknown prefabricated building system having an aluminum skeleton structure are reviewed. In this system the complete load bearing structure of floor joints, roof or ceiling girders, and trusses is built on a 240 or 120 cm rectangular module. A versatile range of structural elements of hot extruded aluminum parts is used for the construction of one- or two-story buildings for different applications. Examples are illustrated.
