A microprocessor system designed for the automatic control and monitoring of gas and oil burners is described. Its outstanding features are: wide scope of application owing to the combination with different opto-receivers adapted to the spectral regions, program edit in line with DIN specifications, high reliability, minimum number of wear and moving parts such as time-delay relays, etc. and state-of-the-art microprocessor circuitry and software.
