摘要：

With the acceptance of the IEEE-488 bus for automatic measurement systems, the demand for instruments incorporating this standard is almost universal. Matching an instrument's internal buses to the external IEEE-488 bus is difficult when the buses differ in the number of their lines and operating speed. This paper presents a single large-scale integrated circuit that provides all the required coding, decoding, and interface functions. Highly flexible design enables the large-scale integrated circuit to link most microprocessor-based instruments to the popular bus.
