In the reported experiments, the effect of the contents of powdered chlorinated polyethylene or chlorinated polyethylene in the form of a 50 percent concentrate in PVC, used as impact modifiers of PVC, on the processing and mechanical properties of films prepared by extrusion through a wide-slit extruder head has been investigated. The optimum content of these impact modifiers of CPE-type has been established in the manufacture of high-quality high-impact PVC films.
