STUDY ON STRETCH-BEND LEVELING FOR A STRIP.

This paper deals with theoretical and experimental studies for a new type of correction for the shape of strips: stretch-bend leveling. In terms of theoretical analysis, the author presents the relationship between related factors under stretch-bend conditions and formulas for calculating residual elongation after leveling, thereby providing a reliable foundation for leveler design and technical parameter selection in strip leveling. Experiments were carried out with a ten-roll leveler equipped with a feed reel and a coiling reel, and the diameter of each roll is 250 mm. The dimension of the strip used in the experiments is 0. 8 mm in thickness and 200 mm in width, with the tensile strength being 196 N/mm**2. The results are concordant with theory.
