摘要
The authors investigated the influence of yttrium and REM in the cerium subgroup on the mechanical properties in the systems Al-Si (Al9, Al-Si-Cu (AL5) and Al-Cu (AL7). It was established that as the Ce addition to alloys AL9, AL5 and AL7 is raised from 0. 07 to 0. 41% the mechanical properties are lowered in both the cast condition and after quenching and aging. However, up to 0. 5% Nd or Pr can be added to alloys AL5 and AL9 with no significant effect on mechanical properties. On the basis of these findings, adding up to 0. 2% Y in AL9-type and AL7 alloys which contain silicon is recommended.
