摘要：
On the basis of momentless shell theory, a weight comparison has been undertaken of internally pressurized vessels made in the form of spheres, linked spherical shells, cylindrical and conical shells with spherical heads, and toroidal and elliptical shells. It is shown that the vessel made in the form of linked spherical shells is one of the most optimal forms for installation in a restricted space. An example is given of the design of vessels in the form of linked spherical shells of different diameters for certain restricted spaces.
