摘要
The results of this investigation support the hypothesis that the mode of solidification is more important than the amount of ferrite retained in the room temperature microstructure in determining the sensitivity to hot cracking and microfissuring. Stainless steels in which delta ferrite is the primary phase during solidification are more resistant to hot cracking and microfissuring than those in which austenite is the primary mode.
