摘要
In this work we discussed the principal physico-metallurgical characteristics of the development of the reversible shape memory effect (RSM) closely linked with the memory effects taking place in certain types of metallic systems. The investigations were conducted on NITINOL alloy produced by plasma metallurgy. We also discussed the parameters of development of RSM in the so-called low-and high-temperature conditions and the parameters of the thermal stability of both main types of RSM. The reasons for the differences in the behavior of the alloy at low- and high-temperature RSM were also investigated.
