The effects of vegetative mulches and initial soil moisture on soil detachment from clods by wind-driven rainfall were studied in a wind tunnel-raintower facility. This paper examines the combined effects of mulch kind and cover, initial soil-moisture content, and wind velocity on soil detachment from clods.
