摘要：
The necessary conditions for occurrence of separation processes have been considered. A thermodynamic separation criterion has been obtained which generalizes the entropy criterion of sedimentation for nonisothermal cases of separation processes during phase and chemical transformations in external inhomogeneous force fields. The minimum energy expenditures for carrying out the separation process in the general case have been calculated. The specifics of physicochemical separation processes are analyzed.
