摘要
In this paper we take a mildly critical look at the new model of learning on which electronic learning systems are built by looking at key projects, discussing current .research and highlighting both strengths and weaknesses. We shall then draw the discussion together by making reference to lessons from the past and using this to point to suggestions for further research.
