In the reported experiments the changes in porous structure of PTFE, that is used as binder in gas-diffusion electrodes, taking place during heat treatment has been investigated. These changes also take place during manufacturing process of electrodes, thus affecting their electrochemical performances. Results are presented and discussed in terms of recommendations for practice.
