Compact, lightweight and high efficiency switching power supplies work in all electronic equipment, including information and communication equipment. A high operating frequency in the switching power supply is the key to meeting size and weight requirements; makers have developed products with frequencies greater than 500kHz. Under such circumstances, the low loss ferrite materials serving as a main part of the switching power supply and the progress of circuit technology hold the keys to developing future power supplies.
