The results of magnetization, magnetic susceptibility, resistivity and magnetoresistivity measurements for αUSe2, βUSe2, U3Se5 and USe3 single crystals are reported. For αUSe2, χ(T) goes through a maximum at T = 13 K, which may indicate an antiferromagnetic transition. βUSe2 and U3Se5 are ferromagnets with TC = 14 and 24 K, respectively. The temperature dependences of the electrical resistivity, measured for all compounds on single-crystalline samples, reveal semiconducting properties of αUSe2, βUSe2 and U3Se5, but USe3 behaves as an insulator.
