Coking coals of the Anzhersk and Kemerovo districts of the Kuzbass. Past, present and future

It is shown that the coals in the Glushinsk fields have poorer concentratability than the coals of the Nizovsk and Rovno Mines; lower cokability indices are also characteristic of them. Thus, construction of mines in the Nizovsk and Rovno fields can be viewed as the most preferred solutions; construction of a mine in the North Biryulinsk and Biryulinsk IV-VI fields is also promising. It would be expedient to accelerate construction of the Anzhersk South Mine and design and build a mine in the Nizovsk and Rovno fields, since the existing number of mines cannot ensure the future demand for cooking coals of grades K and OS of the required properties.
