摘要：
This is a comprehensive survey of plastics parts employed in Soviet rail transport. The advantages of using plastics parts have stimulated an expansion of their fields of use in all branches of rail technology. They are used in rail automation equipment, telemechanics and communication, in passenger carriages, electric trains and locomotives, in overhead structures and in contact circuitry. It has been shown that the Russian rail transport uses almost all type of plastics materials processed by various technologies.
