摘要
Electrical resistivities of titanium and several titanium-rich Ti-Al alloys were measured at liquid nitrogen temperature. A resistivity-concentration curve for Ti-Al alloys has been plotted which shows that aluminium additions raise the electrical resistivity of Ti. Based on previously published results, the resistivity decreases observed in aged Ti-Al alloys are attributed to the precipitation of an ordered second phase. Resistivity increases observed in pure Ti are attributed to interstitial contamination. An activation energy for oxygen diffusion in Ti has been derived.
