摘要
The following considerations become more important in the design of modern biological waste water treatment plants: minimization of energy and operating costs; offgas handling to reduce emissions; minimization of space requirement within existing production plants. Modern biological waste water treatment plants can meet these requirements by the use of special high efficiency injectors for aeration and by treatment of waste water especially in covered tanks and basins. Design and operational details of wastewater treatment plant in petroleum refineries are given. 4 refs.
